Please read all terms and conditions prior to booking any Motorhome!
Motorhome Collection:
We are very flexible on which day you require to start your Motorhomes hire however; this depends on other customer bookings. A
Collection timings: Between 9am and 6pm. (a time slot must be agreed on booking).
Vehicle return timings: Between 9am and 11am on the day of return.
Is it possible to collect outside of timings: It is possible but this must be agreed prior to arrangements.
A full tour and walk around of the motorhome will take place for pick-up and drop off. This procedure could take up to 1 hour. This will include signing documentations and demonstrations.
Drivers: All named drivers must be present on collection of the motorhome. A driving licence must be present.
Full to full tank: The motorhome will be collected with a full tank and therefore must be returned with a full tank. There is a Morisons Fuel station only 400meters down the road. The fuel is Disel.
Vehicle return: The motorhome must be returned to the same condition as when hired.
- Toilet must be emptied,
- Fuel tank full – minimum of £25 charge if tank is not full
- Rubbish removed and interior clean (same condition as when collected).
- Waste water emptied
- Toilet cassette emptied
The motorhome must be returned on the correct date and time stated on the rental agreement.
A charge will be applied for additional cleaning if the motorhome is returned dirty or upholstery requires cleaning. This also includes if the toilet and waste tank is not empty on return. This also applies to damaged or lost items that were provided in the motorhome when collected.
If you don’t do this for any reason, a £50 charge will apply.
Please note there are no toilet emptying facilities at Posh Motorhomes Hire.
It is the hirers responsibility to ensure that upon return of the motorhome all your personal belongings and rubbish are removed from the vehicle. The vehicle may be going back out on hire again that same day and Posh Motorhomes Hire cannot be held responsible for any items left on board.

In line with our insurance policy, we take a non-refundable security deposit of £250 for ages 25 to 75 and £700 for 23 & 24 years old, on the day of hire to cover our insurance excess.
We have a minimum hire period of 3 days payable, but you could bring it back sooner.
Our standard motorhome hire price includes two named drivers, handy for the longer journeys!
Drivers can be between the ages of 23 and 75 inclusive.
Drivers must have a full license category B, held for a minimum of 3 years at the time of renting, and no more than 6 points on the license.
Once your non-refundable deposit of £250.00 has been received by Posh Motorhomes, we will require the following documents from you within 14 days of booking:
- A Completed Booking form: Booking Form
- Driving Licence check code https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence
- Driving Licence – a clear scanned copy/photo front & back
- 1 x Proof of Identification
- 2 x Proof of address that matches the address on your license.
The above documents are required for both the hirer and any additional drivers.

You must provide three documents: one item from the following list of acceptable ‘identification’, and two items from the list of acceptable ‘address verification’.

All documentation provided must be in English. All the proofs of address must be dated within 60 days of the hire date. The address and name on your driving license must match all documents.

Yes, you can! Our Posh Motorhomes hire includes European insurance & Breakdown Cover included in the hire price. You will just need to obtain a “Vehicle on Hire Certificate” for a small fee payable to the RAC.
Cancellations must be in writing (email) and are charged as follows:
More than four weeks before: £250 of the total hire cost or booking deposit.
Four weeks to no show: 100% of the total hire charge.
Should you cancel your confirmed booking within four weeks prior to the start date or fail to turn up for the commencement of hire, you will forfeit the booking deposit and hire charge already paid.
This will also apply if upon inspection of named drivers’ licenses, they are found to be invalid or do not comply with the information stated on the booking form.
A no show is deemed the customer not presenting themselves on the first day of the rental period to collect their motorhome and not communicating to Posh Motorhomes Hire prior to this date they will be collecting the vehicle on an alternative date/time within the booked rental period. Should the hire be deemed a no show, the booking will be automatically cancelled at close of business that day, the vehicle will be released for re-hire and no refunds will be due.
Posh Motorhomes Hire reserves the right to amend our cancellation policy for certain events.
We strongly recommend that you have adequate travel insurance to cover you in the event you have to make a cancellation.
In circumstances beyond our control if the Motorhome previously booked by the hirer is not available due to an accident, theft, weather conditions, damage rendering the vehicle unsafe to drive, or any other reason or circumstance, we will refund all monies paid.
Posh Motorhomes however will have no obligation whatsoever with regard to refunding monies paid for campsites booked, events booked, travel booked or any other circumstances.
No one other than the drivers named in the rental agreement may drive the hire vehicles. All motorhomes are comprehensively insured for the named drivers only during the hire period. Additional drivers can be added on at an additional charge. Prices available on request.
All named drivers must be between 30 – 72, of good health, have held a full/valid UK driving licence for at least two years, no more than 6 points on driving licence, no accidents within the last three years and no driving convictions.
The licence must be clear of any endorsements apart from up to six points for speeding offences, if there are any current endorsements special conditions may apply.
All licences required must be produced at vehicle collection; if this is a photocard licence you must produce the card. Persons with serious convictions (within the last 12 years) will not be permitted to drive the hire vehicles, including drink driving offences.
Visitors from abroad may be permitted to drive our motorhomes but we shall need to refer you to our insurance company to check if they will approve you.
A refundable damage/security deposit of £500 is payable upon collection of the vehicle and is fully refundable upon the safe return of the vehicle on the agreed date and time, unless otherwise agreed by Posh Motorhomes. In the event of an insurance claim, the full £500 may be taken to cover our insurance excess charge. Any damage to the vehicle during the hire period that is not covered by an insurance claim will be deducted from the security deposit. This will include any loss/damage of equipment.
Every accident or any damage or defect must be reported to Posh Motorhomes immediately by telephone on 01733 123456. An accident form may have to be completed at the end of the hire period.
Any damage to tyres, windscreen and any theft of personal property is not covered by our insurance and any such damage shall be at your own expense. Posh Motorhomes recommends that you take out your own personal belonging’s insurance.
Driving by non-named drivers or late returns of Motorhomes renders the insurance invalid and the driver therefore commits an offence under the road traffic act, and will be solely responsible for any damages or personal injuries incurred.
Posh Motorhomes accepts no responsibility for replacement vehicle costs, travel or accommodation costs or any other loss claims arising from a Motorhome accident or breakdown.
The Hirer:
- Must remember that although these are leisure vehicles, it is an offence to drink and drive. It is also illegal to drive if you are unfit to do so because you are on legal or illegal drugs.
- Undertakes responsibility for the control of the vehicle on hire to you.
- Is liable for any cost incurred for speeding or parking fines, congestion charges or any other offences committed against the road traffic act regulations.
- Is liable for any overhead, side or rear damage to the vehicle resulting from any accident. The maximum height, length and width of the vehicle is clearly stated in the motorhome.
- Shall not tow any trailer or vehicle behind the hired vehicle.
- Must not exceed the weight limit of the bike rack (where a bike rack is fitted) and shall not fit electric bikes to the bike rack.
- Shall not carry more passengers than the seating capacity of the vehicle, as defined in the vehicle specifications or allow the vehicle to be overloaded.
- Shall not use the vehicle to carry passengers or goods for hire or reward.
- Shall ensure that the driver all passengers required by law to do so shall, at all times when the vehicle is being driven wear seat beats provided.
- Shall not, without written consent from Posh Motorhomes, remove the vehicle from the UK mainland.
In the event of a breakdown or accident, a recovery and repair service are provided for our motorhomes (details inside the vehicles). Please notify us by telephone if an accident happens. Any breakdown, malfunction or damage caused by your negligence must be repaired/made good at your own expense.
It is unlimited mileage for England and Wales
European Zone 1 (France, Belgium, Holland) £10.00 per day
The motorhome and its contents remain the property of Posh Motorhomes at all times. The hirer is required to keep the vehicle securely locked at all times when it is left unattended and refrain from any action or omission which may prejudice Posh Motorhomes rights to the vehicle. Posh Motorhomes reserves the right to retain in part or whole the refundable deposit if additional deep cleaning or repair is required upon return of the vehicle.
It is strictly prohibited to smoke or vape in the vehicles at any time.
Posh Motorhomes reserves the right to vary rates and conditions at any time.
All our vehicles are fitted with state of the art tracking and monitoring systems.
Unauthorised late returns will be surcharged at £30 per hour, or part hour.
The hirer acknowledges collection of the vehicle and its contents, free from defects or damage, other than as specified by Posh Motorhomes. Before commencement of hire, the hirer is advised to check the vehicle thoroughly before leaving the premises of Posh Motorhomes. The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as when hired, with toilet emptied, fuel tank filled up to the click, rubbish removed and the interior clean.
Posh Motorhomes will make a charge of £50 for the cleaning of any un-emptied chemical toilets. Posh Motorhomes will make a charge for the cleaning of dirty or stained carpets or upholstery.
A full tank of fuel is supplied with the vehicle at the commencement of the hire. The hirer is required to return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel. There will be a surcharge of £30 plus the cost of fuel for any shortage. The fuel is diesel. The hirer will be liable if the incorrect fuel is used.
The hirer will be responsible for the regular checking of oil and water levels and must use the correct type of fluids when ‘topping up’ the levels. Our vehicles are fitted with refillable gas bottles which can be swapped for new at any fuel station/campsite supplying Calor Gas (charges will apply). Our vehicles are supplied with one full and one-part full gas bottle. If you require additional gas during the use of our vehicle it will be at your cost.
Posh Motorhomes has the right to refuse to handover the Motorhome on arrival of the hirer to any person who in our opinion is not suitable to take charge of the vehicle, due to any concerns we have for the safety of the vehicle or its occupants or other road users. In this situation all monies paid to us will be refunded in full. Posh Motorhomes will have no obligation whatsoever with regard to refunding any monies paid for campsites booked, events booked, travel booked or any other circumstances.
We do allow well behaved/well trained dogs/pets dependent upon age and breed. We request that they do not jump up on the beds or furniture and sleep in their own beds. You must use your own clean throws to protect the upholstery. Pets must not be left unattended in the vehicle at any time and you must have proof of a recent flea treatment application. We charge £25 per pet and you must ensure that the Motorhome interior is clean and undamaged and shows no sign of pet use. Remember, future hirers may have an allergy to pets and so it is imperative these rules are adhered to. If cleaning is required due to your pet, or any damage is found you will be charged for professional cleaning or repair.
It is against the law to smoke in all hire vehicles. A fixed penalty charge of £200 will be imposed if customers are found to have been smoking in our motorhome. Or a maximum fine of the full damage deposit could be imposed if damage has been caused by smoking. The no smoking policy includes e-cigarettes and vape sticks.
